"Fragile but strong, nostalgic but with an edge": this is how Julie Pike describes her own photography style. She's from Oslo and has worked for many magazines such as Bon, Elle, Nylon, Oyster, Vice, Wire among others. Let's go a little bit deeper chatting with her.

 

How did you start to work with fashion photography? When your passion for photography did come about?

When I started with photography, I photographed more people in general. But during the last years as a student at the Academy Of Art, I noticed that my photos where heading more and more towards fashion. My pile of tearsheets, that I had (still have) were all photos from different magazines like Nylon, Purple, Surface and many many more...
